Dear Parents and Players -
It was good to see so many of you at the meeting tonight. For those of you who were unable to attend on a busy day, please know that I am always ready to answer questions about the Hanover boys' soccer program.
We will keep the HHS Soccer Web Log updated on a daily basis with information about game and practice schedules, as well as other announcements of interest.
I am including the schedule for the next two weeks below. Please let me know if you have any questions.
There will be a designated bus to take reserve players to games and practices, departing at 3:30 - 3:45 from the high school on practice days. Parents may pick up players after practice at 5:30, or make other arrangements.
Teams will be listed on Friday morning on the Web Log, and also will be posted on the bulletin board near the athletic office. Uniforms will be distributed Friday after school, and we will take team photos at that time.
At the meeting tonight, I neglected to describe the policy for parents who wish to drive their sons home after away games. This is permitted as long as a signed note stating this intention is received that day or before in the athletic office. That information will then be communicated to the coach, who cannot release players without that prior notice.
On Saturday, August 30, the Dartmouth men's team is hosting Columbia at 4:00 at Burnham Field. They need four volunteers for ball boys. I will give these spots to the first four players who volunteer via e-mail. This is a great way for any player to watch great soccer at a close range, and get some good exercise. Please contact me if you are interested.
